I had a tip in the head that had probe tip vectors 0,-1,0 and 0,1,0. I created a new probe file and when I went to execute calibration I noticed tat PC-DMIS did not update the probe file tip vector in the edit window. I made a new probe that has tip vectors -1,0,0 and 1,0,0. The Tip Vector in the edit window was 0,-1,0, the last tip I used for the previous file. I did not notice that and when I hit measure, the calibration timed out and failed. Once I updated the edit window Tip vector, everything worked as expected.
