  • The head does not return to its place

All good health. After service, when turning the head to different angles, sometimes the head does not fit into its grooves (a gap is formed in the indicated place) and it tries to do it again, after which it goes into an error. This happens mainly during the return to position A0B0. When measuring the angle, it moves a few degrees to the side. In order for her to get into the groove, you need to help her do it with your hands.
Maybe someone knows what the problem might be.
    P.S.
According to the service engineer, it started because the head was close to breaking.

I believe the service tech is right. The head is done.

      something...
Be careful using it until you get it replaced.
I have one that locked in enough to qualify, even though it wasn't locking completely.
When I ran it, and it did lock in, results were way off.

        You could check the wiring...
And try to clean the gap, with some compressed air ?
dph51 is right, it's probably a hard problem...

Ok, i realize i didn't explain the situation very well.
A service engineer came to us for annual maintenance of the CMM, and on the second day he asked me if we often have such problems when changing the angle, then I saw it for the first time and said that this had never happened before. I wrote down the problem itself and posted it on YouTube
