Outlines of Features on Model

Any advice for outlining features of a model? I'm aware of how to use the clip plans, but I want to be able to outline a feature so that i know where a new one starts.

Look at the photo below, I want to put an outline on the ID and OD of the selected area (web of the part).

Any advise is helpful.
