  • Program is stopping at some scanned features

    I am running a program that stops at some of scanned features. I can click on the red X to cancel the scan and do a Cntrl-E it scans just like it should. If I do a Cntrl-U it just sits there and doesnt move. The Execution window is there and read around 11% done.
    I have some features where the scanning works, but, stops after the scan. Some stop before scanning, some scan and then stop. Some scans work with no problem.

    We are running 2019-R1 on a Global5x5. Below is the first feature where the program stops.

    Code:
    MOVE/POINT,NORMAL,<-44,-7.281,13.4347>
    PLN_RG =FEAT/CONTACT/PLANE/ADAPTIVE_FREE_FORM_PLANE_SCAN,CARTESIAN,OUTLINE,LE AST_SQR
    THEO/<-15.96,-4.303,4.0424>,<-1,0,0>
    ACTL/<-15.916,-3.8636,1.7738>,<-0.9999991,-0.0013004,0.0001791>
    TARG/<-15.96,-4.303,4.0424>,<-1,0,0>
    ANGLE VEC=<0,0,1>,SQUARE
    SHOW FEATURE PARAMETERS=YES
    VOID DETECTION=NO
    SURFACE=THICKNESS_NONE,0
    MEASURE MODE=NOMINALS
    RMEAS=NONE,NONE,NONE
    CIRCULAR MOVES=STRAIGHT
    GRAPHICAL ANALYSIS=NO
    FEATURE LOCATOR=NO,NO,""
    SHOW CONTACT PARAMETERS=YES
    NUMHITS=3,NUMROWS=3
    SPACER=0
    AVOIDANCE MOVE=NO,DISTANCE=0
    SHOW HITS=NO
    MOVE/POINT,NORMAL,<-44,-7.281,13.4347>

    One of the things I was informed of when utilizing the Adaptive scanning was to always go to 'Advanced' tab and select override, then enter the settings you want used.

    Hopefully that is something helpful for you.

      This happens when I have a breakpoint set in the program. Don't know why. I use the same solution as you Marken199

        Yeah this happens to me all the time as well. Unfortunately since it does this I don't use the scan function as much anymore. hopefully there is a fix soon
