I have PCDMIS ver 3.5. When I open up the program I get a message box that says " Was CMM controller just reset" if you answer yes the box goes away and you can open up the file box. if you say no then another box opens up and ask you to reset the controller and re-home the machine.

However, as we run the programs during the day, the CMM operation speed, slows down to the point that it is barely moving. At this point I have to turn the machine off and re-home the machine . then it runs normal again, then starts to slow down.

    I have a Renishaw PH10T probe head and a PHC10-2 probehead contriller.

Is the CMM controller the same as the Probehead controller?

    Any advise?

I don't have any answers for you Chris, but I looked at your user profile and I see you did not fill in the basics. It really helps alot for us to help you if we can find the particulars. You say you are running 3.5, is that straight up or MR1/MR2? What type of machine? What type of controller? All of these can help one of us help you.

      Machine Interface Setup

3.5 and above : Edit - Preferences- Machine Interface Setup - Remove check from READ CMM DEFAULTS ON STARTUP

Older than 3.5 : Options - CMM Interface Setup - Remove check from READ CMM DEFAULTS ON STARTUP

      Apply- Close.

      Restart the sw.

      Hope this helps
