  • Measuring speed

    Hello everyone,

The move speed is OK but when the probe travel to take a hit it is very slow so how can make it faster?

    Thank you,

    Kama,
it is the difference between M-O-V-E speed and TOUCH speed. Your touch speed in your programs should be the same as in your calibration/qualify program.

Type into the Edit Window --- TOUCHSPEED - as soon as you type in 'tou..' hit TAB and then you can edit your 'hit speed' as you mentioned. The touchspeed should be standardized or your probe system will
get confused with over/under travel... but that only affects more precise-type measurements. Not really a big deal

That fast Kirby always to the the first (well ....after RichT) .........

      Thanks much,

Do you know why sometimes the machine increases the touch speed automatically?

Besides something strange happening, it doesn't. It's most likely programs with touchspeed settings.
