    What CAD are you drawing it with? Sounds like it might be an issue with the CAD software? Are you importing it as IGES? Can you attach the IGES file here, or at least the header?

      I've had this issue from time to time. Always just assumed it was a CAD or translation issue and scaled it once it was imported. My guess is it's a standard scale factor. List out a know feature or distance and figure out what your scale factor is.

      If it's not confidential, could you attach your STEP file? Otherwise, the best way to scale an imported model is by selecting menu Operation, Graphics Display Window, Transform. Then enter a scale factor. For example, 25.4 or 1/25.4. Then select OK.

        A STEP is plain text and can be opened in wordpad. Does your file indicate the possible units it was saved in? =(LENGTH_UNIT()NAMED_UNIT(*)SI_UNIT(.MILLI.,.METRE .));
        Also what version of PC-DMIS?
