You can learn some stuff with a video but you really need to go to a training class. Ask your manager for the classes. The more you know and the better you are, the less money he/she is going to spend on broken tools, bad parts that checked good or visa versa. Don’t get discouraged but ask about the training.

I agree with Darrollh , there is no substitute for proper training. Contact your local Hexagon office to see what they can provide. Even in countries still affected by the Covid-19 restrictions our applications teams are able to provide training, all be it remotely via a web link rather than face to face.

This is a link to the webinars section of the Hexagon website if you want to see the latest enhancements and obtain a broad overview of what PC-Dmis can do.

CMMXYZ has some decent videos on youtube. I havent found anything else super helpful however. The company I work for has only sent me to CMM for PC-DMIS 101 and i have to wait 2,000 hours of experience before i can go to level 2. So I have just been trying to get ahead of the class that way it's easy. And then the same thing for level 3. I have to have a total of 4,000 hours of programming experience (2 years) before I will be able to finish my training.

          Hang in there man.

You're a good programmer already, you're gonna have a lot of fun with level 2 and 3 stuff.

Level 2 is where you learn a lot of cool concepts that you can really expand from on your own. I enjoyed that the most. Level 3 was great, too.

I loved going to class. I learned a lot during my time there. THE WHOLE 5 DAYS lol. Just soak up as much information as you can Calvin.Korver and make sure to keep the class book they give you. I jumped back to the book a lot when it came to alignments. Good luck man!

Is it possible to add CC (Subtitle) for deaf/hard of hearing person to be able to understand?

I've put some videos out also.

Production (and presentation) standards not quite up to Trevor's standards yet but I've only started quite recently.

Should be some new videos coming fairly soon.

At the moment it's only recording from laptop microphone, that combined with my accent probably makes it difficult to understand sometimes. I'll have a look at how hard it might be to add subtitles.
