  • Updating Nominals changing tolerances

When you update a nominal in a program, it will change the nominals to the default tolerances. Is there any way to turn this feature off?

Edit: I'm trying to keep my tolerances from reverting to defaults when i change a nominal in a dimension. Wednesday=Monday V3.0

turn off 'use default tolerances', somewhere in the F5 menu on the dimension tab I think.

F5 > General Tab > Click "Warnings" > Unselect "Do you want to update nominals of related dimensions".

This will reset the warning so when the program tries to update the nominal of a dimension you can tell it "No" and to never ask again.
      You should be set!

Ooops, worded my question wrong. I'm trying to keep it from updating the tolerances to the default tolerances when i update nominals. I program everything to 4-place, but also have a lot of unequal tolerances.

BGalle Change Apply defaults based on from Decimal places to Feature type you will have to set your tolerances but it shouldn't update your tolerances anymore.
The Decimal places option is a bit screwy.
