  • Tesa probe damped problem

    Hi everyone. Can anyone suggest how to reset a tesa probe HP TM MF?
    I slightly crached it and **** thing is always showing that is damped.
    yellow light on damped
    Controller HH C V2.0
    Please help

    Ps im not sure I like these Tesa probes, very sensitive

    Unscrew it, clean it,re screw it, reboot all... And if it's the same, it's surely broken...

      Thanks, im gonna use renishaw tp20, much higher quality
      these Tesa tp20 are horrible

        One possible solution-

        If the 2 pins are sticking up out of the mounting face, try putting the mounting face on the granite, and VERY GENTLY press on the module until they are pushed back in flush, so that it's no longer wobbly when resting on the mounting face. This tends to happen whenever these are crashed hard...

          That's the thing it wasn't a crash crash, just slightly down movement at 0,0 z.
          Not sure why would it damage the tessa tp20
