  • Duplicate Excel Files

    Hello all,
I've checked through a handful of threads, but i cant seem to find anyone having the same issue i am of course. We are using 2013 MR1, and i cant figure out why every time i output an excel file, it always dumps out two duplicate files. It also will dump a blank file if the program run is cancelled. Is there any way to set it up to only output 1 file only when the program finishes without having to use script coding? Currently I'm just using the default check box for excel output in the print command editor.

I'm gonna sound like an IT guy here. Have you tried deleting the print command, restart PC-Dmis, and inserting a new one? The only time I personally have ever had a duplicate report, was when i didnt specify the location of where the report was supposed to go. Sorry if this doesn't help at all.

Thank you much my friend, that's all i can hope for at this point. If i find a global setting that controls this i'll drop an update in here.

After talking with Hexagon, turns out in 2013 MR1 the print command and the option through the file menu are linked together. So if i make adjustments to one the change is reflected in both. Which would make you think that they wouldnt be separate outputs but for some reason are. the only way to fix it is to upgrade to newer software, but since we're FDA regulated my bosses don't want to deal with the validation process we would have to go through just to use newer software.
