Finding it difficult to add a Modifier into this linear dimension ( currently using pc-dmis 2018)

Do you mean the feature control frame, if you switch to Xact measure you just click true position and the modifier is in one of the drop downs. if you go to insert/dimension/ and at the bottom uncheck "use legacy dimensions" then Xact measure will automatically start the next time you click true position

You need to create a WIDTH feature to do this with exact or.... Create a generic circle, measure the thickness, assign that value to a variable and then use that variable as the circle size, then dimension the postion with MMC.Comment

when we are checking true position of a part and the datums the position is called out to have MMC as well as the feature does PCDMIS acount for the datums...01-19-2011, 03:31 PM
