  • Help with gauge dimension

    Hi,
I have attached a rough sketch in this need to inspect thickness of a circular disk at Dia. 11.5 (5.75 from center of the part)
i'm unable to probe at exact position due to high slope.
i also tried to construct points by creating scans at R 2.0 & a generic cylinder but couldn't get point at Dia. 11.5.
any successions will be highly appreciated..

Create a generic line at 5.75 from centre that inersects throut both radius then intesect the ratius to the line, you may have to reverse the line to get the correct intersection point.

      Thanks for replying Ukcmm
I never thought of using line

Create a curve from the scan, then intersect / pirce the generic cylinder with the curve.
