  • My off-color issue missed the 2020 R1 Tech Preview boat........

Definitely in 2020... and I can recall either in 2018 R2 or 2019 R2 (I dumped 2019, it gave me an upset tummy)
The problem is that when I set the Edit Colors, for some reason my MOVE/CLEARPLANE is flying the plane, not me!
I set the color for CLEARP/BLAH BLAH on. and is fine.
I set the color for MOVE/CLEARPLANE and... some work - some not so well. See below hilited in ovals:

The color not changing? I guess I can live with. I delete the off-color one(s) and insert fresh ones.
But just a heads up for the HexCoders in the Clearplane division. This 'feature' has stirred up more than just color in the past.

The way 2020 is going, I am not touching that software! 2019 R2 is working well for me.

I haven't seen that issue. It could be the way I setup the colors to match Visual Studio and VS code IDE's.

Tried to reproduce the issue with 2020R1. Can you provide further details?

Can you change the file format to .txt and then the other person can change it back to .clr when saved on their PC?

Tried that as well and the file was too large. I zip it and that work. Edit Window Color 2020R1 20200526.zip

Thank you everyone for the help. File extension is set to a .txt and needs to be change to .clr after extracting the zip file.

Notice that I have the dunce cap on my melon for a reason. I have up until now been always updating my edit window colors when installing new releases by replacing the new color.dat with my previous one. I went right past the easy-peasy method of 'import/export' of the current .clr. !! This thread has been a revelation....
