Enable/Disable probe

I'm wondering if there is a command line that can be put in a program to serve the same function as the "enable probe" button on the jogbox?

WELL, depending on the controller, you can turn on/off "IGNORE MOTION ERRORS" but that is about it.

on second thought, what is considered a motion error. I'm not really getting an error, just a false hit

What probe do you use ?
False hit can come from many parts of the cmm, accel, air bearings, wrong parameters, or of the environment...

It's an SP25. I know what's causing the false trigger and am looking for a workaround because the correct fix would be to replace the machine ! I found the tickbox to "Ignore Motion Errors". Best I can tell, when the box is checked it inserts a command line in the program. When the program is closed and reopened the command line is gone unless I select defaults after ticking the box. I feel this method could be disastrous going forward but will serve my purpose until I can come up with another idea.

there is an automatic rebalance function that can be enabled in a FDC controller. it performs this just after pickup from the probe rack. a Hexagon tech can team viewer it on for you.
