    I believe this depends.

    It used to be that you couldn't, and that only versions released before your license expiry date could be.

    I'm not sure which version they changed it, but they made it so you could update for service packs for that version (note service packs, not releases)

    So If you've installed 2017 R1 you can install all service packs, but not 2017 R2.

    However, I think they've changed this back in the last version or two so you can't again.

    Sorry I can't be more specific with versions.

    Expired SMA - Can you still update?

    Hey all, I know after the SMA expires I will only be able to my PCDMIS versions released before that date.
    What I'm wondering is if I'll able to install new updates to those existing versions after the license expires? (like service packs, etc)
