  • 2019 R2 Automation Object Changes

Today I switched from 2015.1 to 2019 R2 and found our Excel app that pulls the dimensions and creates a formatted layout no longer works. I have already switched the directory to the proper PCDLRN.tlb and I tried to include the UTILS.dll, which no longer works. Has Hexagon documented the changes to the object library from each release? This is a rather big application and documentation like that would save considerable time degubbing.

    Thanks

Try referencing "INTEROP.PCDLRN.DLL" instead of the "tlb" file.

Thanks for the suggestion but Excel just tells me that it can't add a reference to the specified file.

Have you tried starting 2019 R2 as on admin once (this writes to the registry)? Close it once it starts and re-open it as you normally would.

Thanks again but it didn't help.
