  • COP Command and Surface color map crashing program

I have a program that contains a COP command that contains around 2500 points, from the COP I create a surface color map and feed this into a Cad object window in a custom report. I all works perfect, and the report exports with the Color map included.
The program will then finish and the percentage bar to rebuild the edit window executes to about 90% and then the program crashes every time. I know it's the COP and Surface color map as when I remove these items the program executes and doesn't crash.
I think it is a memory or graphics card issue and was wondering had anyone else came across a similar thing and worked out how to fix it. TIA

    -What version are you using?
-Is your graphics card showing up in F5 OpenGL settings tab?
-What's a snapshot of your PC hardware? (Processor, Ram, video card type/onboard ram, win-doze version?)

It's v2019, installed pretty recently with a new PC etc. I will check the settings tomorrow, is there anything specific I should be looking for? I know from having the task manager on that when it went past the COP and was producing the report with the color map that the Memory spiked to around 250mb.

Could you please check the graphic driver date in the Open GL tab of CAD and Graphic Display Setup dialog ? A screenshot of the OpenGL tab would be of some clue.

Looking at this, your graphics driver was last updated 2 years ago. I'd try updating it to start with. Also, maybe change the Default pointcloud display to points instead of smooth to see if that helps - smooth will try to display the pointcloud as a mesh
