    Hi All

I have a trouble when I tried to run a programs that were done under 3.7 MR. I 'm actually running under 3.7 MR3. Does anybody Know about this defect?

The error said: "TR_TSENS, Temperatur Sensor Defect, Temp Corr off". This happens when I try to open the program. After this step, I can't open any program, Then I have to restart all the machine and the controller too.

    Does anybody know this error??

    Thanks in advance..

I am not sure how this relates to differences between MR1 and MR3, but I've seen this trouble when I've had bad sensors. Open the program in PC-DMIS off-line, delete the temp-comp command, then it should work fine on-line. This will hold you until you get the sensors fixed or replaced.

Don, I didn't make those programs on MR2, could you explain me where it should be that commands? Should be in the edit window? or another place.

      I'm new with pcdmis.

It will be in the edit window. It should be at the beginning somewhere.

I didn't find this command, I tried to open the program offline.

Other question. I didn't find this file the name is serv1.stp

The path of this file is C:/program file/thermal ocx/ serv1.stp

Does anyone know where I can get this file?

          Thanks.

            DataSave

If you have a floppy disk as name TEMPCOMP or DATASAVE , you may find it there.

I think sensors are not defected , just you are using wrong parameters for TEMPCOMP.

If you have a backup file of constant.asc , you may find the correct numbers of sensors , then you may enter these numbers to thermal parameters of pc-dmis sw. (Line #50,#51,#52,#53)

            like :

            #50 index - part sensor : Integer PRT_SENS
            1 part's sensor nr
            #51 index - x axis sens : Integer X_SENS
            4 x axis' sensor nr
            5 x axis' sensor nr
            0
            #52 Index - y axis sens : Integer Y_SENS
            2 y axis' sensor nr
            3 y axis' sensor nr
            0
            #53 Index - z axis sens : Integer Z_SENS
            7 z axis' sensor nr
            8 z axis' sensor nr
            0
(this is an example , please DO NOT use numbers abowe.Depending to machine type it might be different)
Just write down the sensor numbers and axis name then fill it to pc-dmis parameters.

Had that with a program given to us, the individual just deleted the temp sensor reference in the edit window and all was well. Since we don't have temp sensors on our CMMs I don't know what that callout was- sorry.

You do not have constant.asc file or serv1.stp file or both?

SERV1.STP :Copy from the msg serv1.stp lines and paste it simply to a notepad document then move to proper folder.
