  • Cant construct intersection line/point

Hey guys I have chamfer that i want to measure the lenght and angle for.

I measured the angled plane (chamfer) as an autoplane, and got the angular dimension right.
But when to construct a line (to get the lenght )out of the angled plane 0, -0.906, 0422 IJK) and the straight plane (0, -1, 0 IJK ) it doesnt give me the right value.
I posted a screenclip and made a dot of the planes im using to construct off for better visual help.

Ive tried a intersection line in each workplane and neither of them give me the right value.

Maybe you need to construct a pierce point between the line and the plane?

Gives me the exact same wrong results as the line-plane intersection...

Plane/Plane intersection will give you the line you need.

      WORKPLANE is critical

        Workplane/Yplus
Construct line / Intersect / select both planes.
        (0, -0.906, 0422 IJK) and the straight plane (0, -1, 0 IJK)

You will get one of the lines you need, which will be the top left edge of your 0,-1,0 light-gray colored plane, along the corner edge.

I do get a line, but its Z-value becomes -3.77 and it should be 2.5 (mm). And im just programming off cad, no physical measurement

Ive tried all these options. And ive used this method before on other products. But this one just doesnt seem to give me the right value. Think it might be wrong with the CAD model or pcdmis bug. (im offline programming it)
