Major mouse lag in PCDMIS

Recently had to 'update' to Windows 10. Running PCDMIS 2017 R2 which was previously running fine with windows 7. Now I have regular severe mouse lag while working within PC DMIS -and only in PCDMIS. Anyone else experience this or know a fix? It is supremely annoying. Thanks.

Note again that it is ONLY happening in PCDMIS and not any other software or programs on this PC.
