    Hey guys,
we had a PC basically die, replaced PC and had to reinstall pcdmis. I have been trying to remember how to set up my programing (new) file so I do not have to keep entering the same info every time (movespeed, touchspeed, prehit, retract, and such) I create a new file. can anyone refresh my brain as to how to do this?

Create a "new" file, insert the defaults you want and save as a template for future programs. Easiest way I know. HTH

2 choices setup a dummy program that has all that and rename it everytime you create a new program, or set your Settings the way you want F10 and Click that cute little Default Button right There. This takes your Settings and keeps them as your defaults.

If that doesn't work go into Settings Editor and do search on each one and change it in there.

I have 2 programs. 1 metric and 1 standard. After you create these, go in through windows and make them read only. Then when you start a new program, one 1 of them, save as.... and let it rip.

That's the bad thing about DMIS when you don't use it, you lose it. Thank goodness this sight exist, there has been a few times I came on here looking for an answer, and it was me who came up with the solution I was looking for, from before. <<< not always, just saying.
