  • Vp Overvoltage Y Axis

Hello everyone, its there a chance that someone has the manual for a DC800 controller of a Silver edition global?, i´ve been having a lot of issues with the controller in specific the VP overvoltage error on Y axis, hexagon already diagnosted that it was the power source and they replace it but after a few days the same error, they came back again and fixed it, but it failed again after a few days, i have some experience with CMM controllers but i dont have the manual for that specific controller just for a quick review until hexagon comes back. Any help would be really appreciated.

If you are still in manufacturers warranty don't touch it
They have been in there 2 X and it appears that the first 2 fixes were not the problem. Try to negotiate something because the repairs that were done were not the repairs needed to fix the issue.

Yea i think you have a point there, but still in future cases ti would be really helpfull to have the manual, i have another 2 CMMs here with FB2 and B3C controllers and i have the manual and utileries for those and was able to fix some errors on them thats why im looking for the manual of that specific controller, i used to be a service enginner for CMMs thats why i´m able to fix some issues in my CMM´s.

Maybe the 3rd visit from the Hexatech will be the charm. I've had multiple visits/fails and I hear your pain. Just a wee bit of advice...even though you're a previous SE for CMMs. IF the Hexatech sees that you've jaspered something that THEY did not, (even if they didn't fix previously) you'll be SOL. They can easily put all the probs on you. If a 3rd try doesn't fix your issue I'd kick it up a level or two @ Hexagon.
        good luck.
