  • Migrating keyboard commands

Going between DMIS versions, is there a way to migrate my custom keyboard commands (hotkeys) from one version to another? I have done this with toolbars, I copied the toolbar.dat file and put it in the same place for the newer version. Is there a .dat file that I can transfer for keyboard commands?

I have an X-Keys programmable keypad and I created some custom hotkeys so I can program them into the X-Keys. I want an easier way to transfer those custom commands from the older version of DMIS to the newer version.
Remembering my beautiful wife Taz who's life was lost on 6-13-2020. I love you and I miss you.

Try CustomMenuItem.dat and Toolbar.dat - this should carry over all user defined customisations. The files are located at
      C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Hexagon\PC-DMIS\<version>

We have a Christmas party here today at noon. When we have the party, I'll sit down and try this. I'm the loner at work and don't hardly talk so I won't be missed.
