  • Probe Data Missing / Over Travel During Probe Change

Hoping this is a relatively easy fix (newer to PC-DMIS).

As of this morning, when I went to run one of our part programs, the machine went to drop off our 4 x 50mm probe in the probe changer and missed the designated slot.
We manually switched probes for the sake of running our program, and put the problem probe back in once we were done running the program.

We attempted to load an active probe to see if it would miss the designated slot again, and this time the machine over traveled in the Z axis.
At this point, we can't get past the machine over traveling in the Z.

I've also noticed that our probe data is missing in probe utilities for this particular probe - the rest of our probes are fine.
I did verify that our probe file was still in it's resident directory.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I would rebuild the probe and calibrate the probe changer. It is very easy-you get popups on what to do. Edit - Preferences - Probe changer - Calibrate
