  • Multi surface profile scanning

LSP-S2 scanning over multiple surfaces. I keep getting "tail" of hits floating over corners. I have not been able to get rid of them.

Not sure totally but that bottom surface looks light blue, why not click on Graphics Tab, Check the select button and De-select all, and then reselect your surfaces and re-generate your hits, any reason CAD Comp is checked? Oh and maybe instead of Relearn, Defined

Under path definition, there's a field called edge offset. plugging in a number tells the scan to stop/start that far from any cad edge along the path. This can sometime help with phantom hits near edges or if the edge isn't cleaned up.

Worked like a charm so far!! Thanks for the tip! Please elaborate on when you would and would not use CAD Comp.
