We are trying to use a 4mm By 22mm ruby ball (Renishaw P/N A-5003-1029) on one of our machines, the tip is not in the drop down menu(which I find odd since most Renishaw tips are in there) when I am building the probe. I read all the topics in the PC-DMIS help center for the probe builder utility but I cannot seem to get it to work. Can anyone help me with this, maybe there is a tutorial on this forum I am missing? Thanks for any help you can give me.
