Auto file open

Does anyone know if I can have DMIS auto open Catia viewer? I have been working with auto save and auto file creation and it works great. Just wondering if I can go a little further with it.

WHEN do you want PC-DMIS to start it?

If you want to start PC-DMIS and Catia viewer at the same time, you could create a .BAT file that starts them both upon execution.

I was trying to use an external command. When I tell DMIS what to open the file with in the first part of the command it just opens Catia. It does not open the file in The second part of the command. I can save the Catia file with a part in it but I can't get DMIS to open the Catia file on it's own. I think it is because it is mot an .exe, .bat etc. file. I also tried creating a .bat notepad file <file path>. This does not work either. I have included a sample of some code.
