  • PC-DMIS 2011 install Hasp Driver removal failed. i have searched threads but still...

Trying to install PC-DMIS 2011 on new computer running WINDOWS 10. My first error i was getting was "HASP NOT CONNECTED", but then after I download the HASP sentinel install thanks to the link posted on the forum that error went away. But now i'm getting the "HASP DRIVER REMOVAL FAILED" then after clicking okay "Operating System Not Seported". I have tried moving install folders, installing as ADMIN.... i don't know what i am doing wrong. This is a new computer running Windows 10. I'm using an offline liceince that is for 2012. I have tried installing 2010 & 2009 and getting the same problem. I did the HASP driver download link from Sentinel_LDK_run-time_setup. It will install it just fine. I have the download folders from wilcoxassoc. I have used this before on my work computer and it works.

Try installing with compatibility mode. Either Windows 7 or 8. And as admin....

Wow, do you still have the system 5? Regardless, there is a command line installer of the hasp driver that you can use which allows you to run an uninstall through that. But as I said in the other post, anything using the legacy installer is probably not going to work due to changes in Windows architecture that rendered a lot of VB6 code unusable.

As John Kugler said above, try compatibility mode. I was able to move PCD 2010 MR3 from a Windows XP computer to a brand new Windows 10 computer. I believe I had this error at one point but after doing "compatibility mode" everything just clicked. Hope this helps
