  • Cannot Calibrate Probes

    Tigo SF Fixed Scanning head. All of a sudden, probe takes 1 hit on cal sphere and errors out saying check your hardware config or replace hardware. After several attempts, it will take 3 hits and on the 4 hit, it will retract very slowly and then error out. It also gets stuck in on of the probe holders on the rack. Already submitted a ticket. Waiting on a friday afternoon now. :\

    Sounds like you may need to check your hardware config or replace hardware.

      Update, the teamviewed in this morning and took an error log from the FDC. They think that it could be a module in the controller or the head itself. It due for its first annual calibration in a few weeks so i'm glad its still under warranty. Machine homes like normal. They ruled out the PC or Pc-Dmis itself being the problem. Waiting to see if they'll send a tech soon.
