Red Auto Vector Point

Does anyone know why when using auto vector point my point on the CAD would be red.

Features are colour coded so red shows out of tol (so I assume it's dimensioned in some way).

All features do this but it's more obvious with points.

This is happening during auto vector point creation. I click auto vector point and the point is red. I then click on the surface of the model and the point is still red. I click create and the point turns black. When I edit the point it turns red again.

is the red point a different size than the black point? If yes the red point could be your probe

I wouldn't think about it without seeing the "point" !!!!!!!

Isn't the red just "highlighting" the point in question when creating/editing?
