    PC-DMIS does not support the rollers on disk probes, but I faintly remember someone mentioning a working method in another thread - search the forum a bit, and you may find it.

        It seems to work for me using only one side of the roller.

        First, calibrate another normal probe in the exact spot you want to calibrate the disc probe, this way you can answer ''no'' when it asks you if the calibration sphere has moved.

        Second, make sure you do NOT have DCC+DCC chosen in the calibration options. Choose ''DCC'' instead.

        Third, check ''user defined'' instead of ''default mode''

        I usually run 12 hits with three rows.

        Next, figure out your start and end angles by using the math below.

        18mm disc dia x 2mm thick
        Calibrate using only 70% of the disk thickness (out of square comp.)

        2mm x .70 = 1.4mm

        half of 70% thickness
        1.4mm / 2 = .7mm
        Half probe dia.
        18mm/2=9mm
        Calculate the angle from horizontal center line to half disk thickness

        SineA= .7/9
        A=4.4º

        Start angle -4.4º
        End angle 4.4º

        Note the start angle is negative and end angle is positive.
        This is all information I compiled in my thread when I was having trouble. This worked like a charm. Dont thank me, thank the forum.
