  • Retrieve actrual probe diameter

Does PC-DMIS have an expression (F2 menu) to retrieve the actual probe diameter? I'm not seeing anything in the expression builder, but can't imagine the command does not exist.

    Thanks

Hey Kai.... Its me Anthony.... The guy sitting next to you...
First and foremost I would like to say that I am deeply saddened that you would not think to ask me first but nevertheless you will find your answer below.

    Code:
    ASSIGN/V1=PROBEDATA("DIAMETER")

Be careful, on scanning head, PROBEDATA("diameter") will give the theo value of the actual tip.
If you want the "real" diameter, you have to add the probe radius deviation, PROBEDATA("PRBRDV").
It a radius deviation, so the real diameter should be :
    ASSIGN/V1=2*(PROBEDATA("diam")/2+PROBEDATA("PRBRDV"))
