  • Question on PC-DMIS saving pdf report files size

My question is we recently upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. Now when it saves the report in pdf the file size is much bigger, is there a setting that got changed to default? I have not had a problem with this in the past. Our share point system will not let us attached big files. Any ideas would be great. PC-DMIS 2014.1 The same file saved before were about 450kb now the are 7,000kb for the same part.

    Thanks

Is it printing with background colors or in a different format?

there are a few registry setting but upgrading to Windows10 should not have changed things
Printing, MaxPrintResolution = DPI print resolution when generating a CAD image report (CADONLY type)
Printing, MaxTextPrintResolution = DPI print resolution when generating a textual report (TEXTONLY type)
Printing, PrintResolution = DPI print resolution to set the Amyuni Print Driver to (assuming you are using Amyuni PDF)

you should be able to find these setting in the help system to better understand what they do.

Thanks for the help. We figured it out they changed the pdf writer to a different one called Microsoft pdf. We changed it back to CutePDF, problem solved.

Why not use the one PC-DMIS supplies?
