PC-DMIS Machine Error
Hello, first time poster. I've only been using PC-DMIS for about 6 months now. I'm getting a machine error "ERROR AI, S%1, TR_AI, 0x15006015 PHM datum error during movement". Any clues on what this could be? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe https://www.renishaw.com/cmmsupport/...m-error--17194 can give some indication (although it is titled "PH10 datum error").

From what AndersI 's link describes, it's an error while the probe head module (PHM) is rotating the probe to a designated angle. If all the listed symptoms/contributors on that link have been pursued (too heavy of a stylus tip, obstruction preventing probe roation, etc). your probe head module is wearing out. Return By Exchange RBE PH10MQ's are about $5200 through hexagon parts department. I'm sure if your head is a different p/n it will be similar in cost. Beats $12k for a new one.Comment
