  • Probe rotating.

    Good morning All,
Just wondering why whenever I rotate the probe after the alignment in the middle of the program it doesn't rotate complete angle for example: TIP/T1A0B0, SHANKIJK=.0016, -.0008, 1 ANGLE .1377 why is not TIP/T1A0B0, SHANKIJK= 0, 0, 1 ANGLE 0. I have a master probe and all my probes are calibrated.

    Thanks

Because nothing in the world is perfect and your tip angle vectors would most definitely not be perfect in relationship to any alignment.

no it is not an assumption that is exactly it, it is compensated for the slight change in alignment.

This is my T1A0B0 loaded in machine coordinates, then the same tip again within the alignment... my alignment is closer than yours is, what is that crooked mess you got goin on!
