Hello, I have 2 positional call-outs of .8 to -ABC- for the same features (18 holes measured as cones due to taper). My alignment is leveled to -A-, rotated to -BC- line, with -B- my XZ origin, -A- my Y origin. For the top positional call-out, I'm reporting each hole's position back to the -B- origin, simple enough. However, I'm unsure how to report the bottom positional call-out because there is a note stating "All Cored Hole Diameters To Be Held As One Feature. 18 Places Marked X."
At first, I was thinking the note meant to do a Best-Fit with all 18 holes. However, it doesn't seem like Best-Fit is correct because the part is asymmetrical and -ABC- already locks down all 6 degrees of freedom.
How would you measure all 18 holes as one feature? Would I need to create a Constructed Feature Set?
Prints attached. Thanks.
