  • How to measure screw surface step?

Hi! We have Global Performance machine and PC-DMIS CAD++ 2014 soft. Can they be used to measure screw surface step? Maybe somwhere is instruction or samples how measure this parameter? Maybe need to update soft? Thanks for your answers!

Can you attach a picture of the screw step? I'm not familiar with that term. Not sure what you are asking for.
Time for the Trolls to leave.

Can you give a sketch of what you are trying to measure as it is a little unclear to me and maybe others.

I think you need to explain what your issue is and not expect other forum members to go to a site and translate it then try to work out what is the problem is.

convert it to the helix angle at pitch diameter and measure that

Can we see the actual picture of the part? Is it like checking impeller surface, coil surface spacing, pitch, taper rate? It’s conical, right? You might be able to do away with surface points with snap on. Do you have CAD? This component is part of your killing machine to be used on MAGA country, no?

1310 is greater than the overall dimensions of the part nevermind the hole...

my bets are on he is looking at a part with a helical oil groove with 1310mm pitch... which would be fairly easy to measure but is that really it
