  • 2018 R2 SP7 - rotary + vision problem !

Hi all, you know what ?
I have a new problem with the rotary + vision (cmmv).
I can turn the rotary and use the cmmv only if there's no scanning probe in the program.
If I begin a prog with the cmmv, I can measure, turn the rotary...
If I begin the prog with the LSPX1, to create the alignment, then take the cmmv, I can "test" a surface point, but it crashes each time when I click "create" !!!!!!!
Fortunately, I have a very nice wall paper !
I have to find what is the last version when it worked fine (before sp4, i think)

I was going to suggest Wankel glasses, but it seems you've got everything under control...

Sad to hear that JEFMAN !

If you feel like it, add this new problem to my 2018 issues megathread.

You might want to test this in the 2019 Technical Preview that is currently ongoing?

Well, if you have access to the TP forum, you can always post the info there and hope that maybe someone uses the same equipment can test it (and report it).

          Hi Jeffman,
Has you reported this to your local technical support? I have not received any report of this problem within our internal reporting software.
For us to investigate I will need the following:
Example part program and associated probe files
Pcdmis debug of executed part program
          Crashdump file

Please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected] and I will schedule my team to investigate this crash

          Thanks,

          Neil

            UPDATE :
It seems that it works if I recall the startup alignment.
Can it be due to the position of rotary (actually vertically positionned, rotation axis along Y minus CMM) ?
Friday afternoon, here, happy week-end, all !
