Any one know how to reset a sharpe32 controller with an error stusk in it

I have reset the controller over 20 times... two different computers several versions of pcdemon
Controller will not release error
machine centered... micro pfx has manual move switches
estop not pressed

Please help to reset and clear this error

take the jogbox apart and make sure that the e-stop button isn't fubar, they have been know to 'fall apart' and not reset.

It's a hardware error, changing pc-dmis doesn't do anything...
In a sharpe 32, you can plug a screen and a keyboard.
Just take a look at the way to boot of the it. (but you will have to find an old outlet keboard...)

Had similar error messages on a Micro Xcel with a Sharpe 32 controller
The hardware limit check fault on all 3 axis
Had boards replaced in the controller to fix

Did not have e-stop pressed part of the message, I would want to check as Matt suggested.
There are a couple of fuses in the controller that can be checked also...

Is it possible when booting to an incorrect downl.oad file it corrupted the hard drive in the controller (downloading to controller during bootup)
messing up the compgrid??

If so how can i reset the hard drive/controller

jogbox previously would flash mach start and controller would have a loud click and all lights off

then when I started pcdmis another single clidk and i could click the machine start and home

worked t his saturday

could home, calibrate 0,0 probe accurately

decided to do the 0's 90,90,90,-90, 90 0,90 180

got an error on 90 -90

that is when this started

all other probe cals were great

Unlike my earlier posts where it was off 80mm

Anything is possible when it comes to hard drive corruption but in this case I have never seen that happen on these controllers and I've seen hundreds of cases of people using an invalid or incorrect downl.oad, more likely something died on the board or the drive.

Long time ago, I installed a floppy disk in the sharp32, so that I could boot on it.
If you have a backup of the files, you can copy them on the sharp32, just remembering some "dos" commands (like COPY A:\*.* C:\*.* or something like this... it's old !!!!!)

Ended up buying a rebuilt Sharpe 32 for 4K... works now
