We are routinely getting overtravel alarms in Y direction on our Bright 7107 which uses PCDMIS software facilitating need to reboot. Also we are not getting the full 39.4" of travel in y direction. Is there some type of parameter that controls this. Seems like machine limit switches should preclude the ability to overtravel. Any input would be helpful

From what I've seen, there is a software limit that Hexagon sets in the mapping (not accessible by non Hex). It shouldn't take but a few minutes for a Hex tech to teamviewer in and change the software setting.

sounds like a different issue if you need to reboot... but keep in mind the actual full travel would be 39.4" minus your prehit/retract distance

How much you missing it by ? You have 1000MM ( 39.370 ) Its funny that the older EXCEL we have is the same size as the new Global but I get at least .200 more travel out of it.
