I am using an older version of PC-Dmis and am trying to get a report for the profile of a surface. I measured the first surface as a plane and leveled to it. the second plane is parallel to it 2.603" above. Parallelism, flatness, and dimension are all within .0002", but when I ask for the results of plane 2 in surface profile I get .009". Am I going about it wrong? I thought I should get similar results as flatness.
