  • Dependent offset

    Hello, everybody,

I programmed a new measuring program for a component last week and stumbled across the following "problem". I measure an inner diameter Ø17 ±0,1mm on which a following measuring point should depend. That means: if the diameter is perfectly made to 17,00 the measuring point should be touched at y = - 8,8mm. With a measurement of 17.1 then at - 8.85 - thus always with an "offset" of 0.3mm to the actual inside diameter. I just somehow lack the approach how I could best solve this. Some years ago I programmed something similar, but I can't find the measuring program again.

Hope that you can help me

    Version: 2018R1

    Greetings,
    Daniel

ASSIGN/V1=-(CIRC1.R+0.3) and use V1 for y value should do what you want.

This is how I would do it

As Jefman said or just put it straight into the Theo and Targ of the feature.
