  • Pulling meas value into variable FCF problem!

    Morning all,

Does anyone know the syntax for pulling the measured variable from within an FCF dimension?

For example (shown in attachment) if I want to pull a measured value for line 2 of a 4 dimension FCF what would be the code to point at that line?

    I have tried:
    ASSIGN/DIM3=FCFLOC1[2].MEAS
    ASSIGN/DIM3=FCFLOC1.line2.MEAS
    ASSIGN/DIM3=FCFLOC1[line2].MEAS

and every other combination of this I can think of, and I can't find anything relevant searching the help file.

    Thanks in advance.

Cheers mate that is exactly what I needed! I fed the text values into a generic feature and exported the dimension from that. Thanks for your help pal.

With the great stuff of SABarber and dph51, this is how I understand the way to make it works :
1- create the fcf and update the report
2- right click on the report, and look the pop-up text (line2..., summary...)
3- seach in the data list the right line (ie line2.meas=688, summary.meas=692...
    ASSIGN/V1=GETCOMMAND(184,"UP",1)
    ASSIGN/V2=GETTEXT(688,1,V1) for the first value
    ASSIGN/V3=GETTEXT(692,8,V1) for the 8th line
    or directly
    ASSIGN/V2=GETTEXT(688,1,{FCFLOC1})

Right click in the help file / available data allows printing them
