Bad CAD translation

I impoted a step file and the nominal from the cad file do not match. I am trying to do a scan from sequential, multiple surfaces and need the program to relate back to the cad file for nominals. I verified the cad file, and re verified the step out translation. They are both good. Whats wrong???

Did you go into your step file options under the import dialogue? It's probably a setting under there messing you up!

May be a dumb questions but is the alignment complete " CAD=PART" or an iriative alignment?
