I like to run the probe path and simulation before a run the first part. It's been working great until recently. Now when I try to run it, it wants to lock up the whole pcdmis program. I have to hard drop the program and restart to get back to where I was. Has anyone else seen this? Any fixes?
We are running 3.7 and are about to upgrade to 4.1.

    Thanks

No info to help with your problem other than to suggest waiting for 4.2. 4.1 I guess isn't too bad but I have heard alot of people complaining about it. I used it for about a month or two before I went to using a release candidate of 4.2. I hardly have any problems with the 4.2 version. This will be a better option for you. Shouldn't be too long before its' released.

      Definitely WAIT for 4.2...

I've been using 4.1 for several months now and wish I had never waisted my time downloading it. It has been several months of mind-boggling disasters...

Have you recently updated your SMA? I have had quite a few 'issues' since my new SMA went through, things that have never happened before are now happening. For example, if I want to do a round slot, no matter what, where, or if I was doing anything or the size of the program or anything at all, the first click on the first one will cause a power-dump to occur. I then re-start PCdmis and it works. Have not found a work-around for this yet, ya just gotta take the crash and go on.

But the 4.2 version is mostly like the 4.1. The most difference of the two version is pcdmis cad++. Willcox had realeased the 4.2 version, but you can not download it now. Maybe next month.

Anybody heard on a release date for 4.2? The longer we are in 4.1, the more work arounds that have to be developed. If this keeps up much longer, thinking...

I use 4.1 which I find pretty unstable. Has anyone that has upgraded to 4.2 find it better? I know some won't go past 3.7 so I'm wondering what to do....
