  • Intersecting Circles

    Problem Solved Thanks To Matt.

I need to find the point where two circles intersect (see attached). Any ideas?

Well, you have to do CONSTRUCT ~ POINT, trhen YOU have to makr INTERSECTION. Then, you have 6 ways to get there, hopefully one of them will be right:
    CIR1 to CIR2
    CIR2 to CIR1
    REVERSED CIR2 to CIR1
    REVERSED CIR1 to CIR2
    REVERSED CIR2 to REVERSED CIR1
    REVERSED CIR1 to REVERSED CIR2

I think one of these will get it.

      Thanks Matt,
I tried that first, it wouldn't work. I got a "math failed" error. I just tried it again after reading your post with all the different combinations you listed. They all worked. I guess I gave up too easily.

Try creating a point and select pierce not intersect. You may have to play with the order you select the circles.

When in doubt, post code. A second set of eyes might see something you missed.

Easiest way is to use this: http://www.selectsmart.com/darex/cir_cir.html
