  • Delete datum information on True Position FCF

I Have trouble when showing True Position on FCF,
There is some information i want to hide or delete, that is location on Datum which shown in Position tab, that information come when i add secondary and tertiery datum with MMC or LMC on True Position,
Is there anyone know what is the purpose for that info, or can it deleted or hide, because i have been asked for that..

It is included as the datum(s) uses the MMC modifier.
I assume "they" want to remove it since it is OOT?

Remove the MMC modifier from the datums in the evaluation and they should be removed from the report - however, then you wouldn't evaluate it with MMC on datums...

is there any other way to do that except remove the MMC, because MMC on datum is required on cust Drawing,
I've been asking my trainer but he also doesn't know how to solve this problem,

You could edit the label that contains the datum information and somehow remove that particular part (I assume the report label checks if the datum in the FCF has a modifier and if it has, it prints the information). Personally, I think the information should be there as it is part of the position evaluation. It looks to be out of tolerance - I hope that isn't the reason for the removal...

the main reason why i want to remove that datum information is because i couldn't explain about the datum information, what i seek in that true position is only for that 4 holes, but that datum information is somehow come along, and it sometimes in, sometimes out tolerance, but the holes is always fine.
So could you tell me what is the reason that datum information is for..??

It's red because you have a tolerance of zero for its position. All it can use for sliding around is the diameter bonus, and as you can see, the bonus is smaller than the position deviation in the picture. If that is exactly what the drawing says, the red datum is important - it tells you that the holes, as a group, are too far away from the datum; The only way to get the group OK is to move the datum out of its tolerance zone, hence red. If the red datum is not important, the program (and possibly the drawing) is incomplete.

You don't solve "I couldn't explain" by hiding it!
