  • New Controller & Head Question

We just got a new PH10T PLUS articulating head and that came with a new PHC10-3 PLUS Controller.

After we plug everything in, do we need to get the machine calibrated?

nope, all you need to do is calibrate the probes.

When I replaced my head, I just had to make sure it was squared up to the table.

      Indicator.
If its not oriented properly, hit it with a piece of brass =P

acgarcia Yep, an indicator that tells me I am straight. This is done by rotating the probe to 90° and squaring it up to the threads on the table.
