  • perimeter scan using sp600 find noms on...no deviation??

Anyone willing to test their 3.5mr2 using CAD file and perimeter scan??

It seems that I cannot get any deviation to show up when find noms is turned on and defined method is active ("defined" being the only choice available). It calculated the perimeter, generated, and executed complete but all is showing 0.0000 deviation.

I then used patchscan with success (deviation occured)

Hehe, at least your Patch Scan works in 3.5

My Patch Scan doesnt seem to work at all in 4.1

Isn't it great when the new versions break what was once working, for the sake of new "enhancements"

        Mike,

Do you get a note that states that it couldnt find noms??? I hate perimeter scans with a SP600.. dont like to work very well. I have to break scans up into segments, then create sets for it to work properly.

          perimeter scan

          -calculated correctly
          -generated correctly
-with findnoms it will execute completely but report no deviation
-with nominals it will execute and crash pcdmis when finishing scan

I never tried to break up the scans and combine into a set later
Either way there wasn't any deviation to report....not sure why

Is there a way to use Grid scan with a SM25 scan head and not use points but maintain constant contact?
